Like everyone else in my city right now, I’m awaiting the “snow storm of the century.” We’re all wondering whether this will actually happen or will it be another one of those false alarms like we’ve experienced in the past. As far as the grocery suppliers are concerned we’re apparently already buried under.
Right now, however, as I sit here at my desk looking out the window, the snow is gently falling. Large flakes float by my view and occasionally catch an updraft giving way to more flight before hitting the ground terminating into the blanket of white. We are often reminded there are no two snowflakes alike. These little white wonders are each beautiful works of God-designed art. Created way above us, they are sent on a journey to the ground creating the blanket below. The beauty of all this caused me to think about God’s Word which never goes out without accomplishing its intended purpose. Like the snowflakes that too is a beautiful thing the way He does that. He always accomplishes what He wants and He uses the Word to do it. I’m so thankful for that, aren’t you?
Isaiah 55:11 “So will my word be which goes forth from my mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
